meet Annalise

Photography has always felt like a natural part of who I am. Ever since I was little, I was constantly creating—making art, playing music, or running around with a camera, documenting anything and everything. Creating has simply always been how I see the world.

Now, nearly a decade later, I still feel just as grateful every time someone trusts me to document one of the most meaningful days of their life. It is an honor I never take for granted. My faith is the foundation of who I am and the way I love others. The Lord has faithfully guided every chapter of my life, opening doors I never could have planned myself. I strive to approach both life and photography with gratitude, intention, and a heart to serve, knowing that every story I'm invited into is a gift.

With nearly a decade of experience

“SHE BROUGHT SO MUCH JOY TO OUR DAY, AND BECAME A DEAR FRIEND.”

In 2018, going into my senior year of high school, I bought my first camera and asked a friend if she'd let me photograph her. I had no idea that one small "yes" would change the course of my life. I fell instantly in love—not just with taking photographs, but with the feeling of creating something meaningful.

One of the biggest adventures of my life came when I packed up everything I owned and moved to Oahu, Hawaii. What I thought would be a short chapter turned into six unforgettable years. Living on the North Shore changed me in ways I never expected—life moved a little slower there, priorities became simpler, and I learned the beauty of being fully present. It was also where I had the privilege of photographing hundreds of incredible couples from all over the world, exploring islands I'd only dreamed of visiting, and falling even more in love with documenting meaningful moments.

These days, I'm grateful to call Tennessee home. I miss the ocean more than I can explain, but I love this season of life. If you know me beyond photography, you'll quickly learn I find so much joy in the simple things—slow mornings with a homemade latte, tending to my garden and sourdough, evenings spent outside watching the sunset, long walks with the people I love. I'm continually thankful that my career allows me to meet people from all walks of life, traveling to some of the most beautiful places to celebrate their stories.

The Story Behind Annalise Photo

I'm passionate about this work because I love love — and I believe marriage is one of God's sweetest gifts. There's something so special about telling a story through artful images, and every wedding gives me a fresh canvas to create something beautiful for my couples to hold onto forever. What makes me different is how much I care about the experience itself — not just the final gallery. As photographers, we hold real influence over how a couple experiences their wedding day, and my goal is for you to feel the joy of getting married, fully present in the moment, while I create art that holds all that emotion for years to come.

My Heart

It is so important to me that the foundation of not only who I am, but also my business, is rooted in Jesus. Everything I do flows from His goodness, and my heart is to build something that reflects His love in every way. My prayer is that through this experience, you feel encouraged to love deeply, reminded that you were created in His perfect image, and fully seen for who you are.As your photographer, I want to create a space where you feel safe, inspired, and truly at peace—where you can rest in the joy of knowing you are endlessly loved. How beautiful is it that the Creator of the universe looks upon you with such love and calls you worthy. He promises hope, a future, and a love that never fades. I pour so much intention into my work, with the deepest desire to honor Him in all of it.

My Foundation

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

PSALM 23
